Valves, etc., have been replaced numerous times but still won’t work. If all that is correct, the problem may well be with the clutch itself and may require a tractor split for repair. On the other hand, the external PTO levers and linkage on many tractors of that series (00, 03, 05, 10) have been changed and improved many times over the course of production with the 00 being the earliest.Technician: J.R. With someone setting on the seat, the brake pedal pressed in and the key turned to the start position you should have power to one of the solenoid terminals. If you have no power then you may have another switch such as the reverse switch bad. Replace the old gears with a new one. 6. Tight or loose steering wheel. There are two main issues with the Deere 6400 tractor.
